You've got to love these imperial pieces! The 33 inch unmarked triple etched, single fuller, plated blade looks good! The etch depicts cannons, Armour, A skull and crossbones and "Inf. Rgt.17". To the spine we have a leave motif. The plating shows some lifting and oxidization towards the tip. The fit is tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates Exc++. The scabbard is steel based and silver painted. It has oxidization spotting throughout but no dents. The rings are fixed. The upper obverse is Jeweler engraved, "Hus. Fischer 5.Es". The basket hilt is constructed out of a solid nickel-silver base. The basket hand guard piece has a crack separating the top of the basket I show clearly. The basket has a lovely detailed Prussian eagle. The black wood grip has a chip and crack. Overall it is a good looking private purchase sword that may just complete your collection
