A last ditch Alcoso direct from Vet's family. The blade on this one has age gray. It has a tight fit, sharp tip and the last production etched "AWS Alcoso Solingen" maker mark. Overall the blade rates Exc. The original buffer pad remains intact. The steel based scabbard has matching age and oxidation. It is wonderfully detailed with oak leaves and acorns and random pebbling throughout. The single screw remains intact. It is dent free. The matching patinaed crossguard looks good! It is beautifully detailed throughout the eagles feathers and wings along with the top side embossed acorns and oak leaves! The steel ferrule is oxidized. The plaster based celluloid covered grip looks excellent being chip and crack-free! The grip wire is intact.
