A nice early all brass model by Paul Seilheimer shown on pg. 121 of Swords of Germany. The unmarked blade on this one has some minor scuffs. The tip looks good, the fit is tight, the blade remains nice and bright! No sharpening. The blade rates Exc++. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard has the most minor of wear and it truly supperior. Paint is 99%. It has no dents and the throat is secured by two dome head screws. The whole thing is beautifully detailed with oak leaves and acorns! The lion-head looks awesome with bright red glass eyes and hand enhancing to the mane expertly hiding the blade tang in its hair. The languet features a beautifully guilted open winged eagle. The black celluloid grip is chip and crack-free with nice tight triple brass wire wrap. A nice example.
