Here we have a combat worn example of a Single Decal M40 Army Helmet by ET64. The shell is constructed out of a stamped piece of steel sheet metal that has been green textured pained. The shell has a folded over edge, embossed air vents and three split rivets. The interior has a steel liner with two square rings. The leather liner is lost to time. The helmet is serial marked "22036" to the back and is also maker marked and sized "EF64". It was named but the name has been scratched out. The exterior is in excellent shape showing period wear and excellent paint coverage. The single decal is toned yellow. This is likely a reissue! An excellent example direct from Vet's family.
