Matching Alcoso K98 Bayonet 1943

Here's a desirable one, I love these last ditch bayonets with the rough finishes! The blade on this one rates NM! The tip and fit are perfect, 97% of the bluing remains intact except where it has rubbed the runners from drawing it in and out. It is nicely maker marked! The blade is stamped 43fnj indicating the year of construction (1943) and the manufacturer. The blade is also stamped "2747" matching the scabbard! The scabbard is in nice shape! It shows little wear, only surface scratches. It has it's side screw and remains completely dent free! The hilt is in excellent shape as well! The brown multi-toned late-war bake-lite grip plates are in beautiful condition! No chips or splits. This piece is inspection stamped to the ball. This one also comes with a good soft and supple frog. It is tightly secured with all of the stitching and rivets intact Overall this is a great piece!
