Italian WWII M1935 Pith Helmet

Original Italian pith issued to Africa service Army. A very clean example in near new condition. No chinstrap and stamped nickel emblem mounted to a red-white-green cockade. Size marked 54, light amount of wear to the paint surface on the metal ventilator cover, just a little weak in the cork on the rear neckguard of the helmet from people holding it there. Paul for some reason you don’t see these anywhere. I think the reason may be that early on, many of the Italian troops were captured and taken prisoner and most were destroyed quite early in the campaign...... Nice looking helmet.
