Matching Holler K98 Bayonet 1942

Here's a desirable matching example! The blade on this one rates Exc++! The tip and fit are perfect, all of the bluing remains intact except where it has rubbed the runners from drawing it in and out. It is nicely maker marked! The blade is stamped 42fze indicating the year of construction (1942) and the manufacturer. The blade is also stamped "1604" matching the scabbard! The scabbard is in nice shape! It shows wear and loss of finish while remaining dent-free. It has it's side screw. The hilt is in excellent shape as well! The brown multi-toned bake-lite grip plates are in beautiful condition! No chips or splits. This piece is profusely inspection stamped. This one also comes with a good soft and supple frog. The frog is loose and seems a bit oversized, it may be one for a German SG-98/05nA but not sure. It has all of the stitching and rivets intact Overall this is a great piece!
