Nice silver period ring. Internally marked "800". So this one required some research. This is the Squadron Insignia of the Second Staffel of Reconnaissance Group 13 based in Russia. The Owl with a magnifying glass as shown below. 80% of the Group was in Russia and mostly destroyed. 2nd Staffel stayed behind in the West and is likely the reason the ring still exists. You will note that in the name of the Group it is preceded with the letter H. This is Heer..... in other words they provided army recon support.
