Here's good representative example! The blade on this example is fairly clean. The cutting edge has been sharpened and there are age stains and minor pits. The reverse of the blade is stamped with the RZM M7/62, (Friedrich Plucker Jr, Solingen-Grafrath) maker mark. The blade rates Exc. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The scabbard suffers some bumps, paint loss, and age-toning throughout. The leather has age but no cracks and is fairly supple. like all of these I do not recommend using the snap as it stresses the leather too much. The zinc hilt has plating loss from honest wear. The black checkered grip plates are in good shape. The diamond retains 100% of its enamel. A great price.
