An SS-Allgemeine Schirmmütze Hersteller 35. It is constructed out of black tricot weave wool, with white wool piping. Attached to the obverse is a Zimmermann Eagle and Deschler Totenkopf. To each side is a peened on multi-piece steel black enamel painted side button that holds a lightly crazed black leather chinstrap. There is a black lacquered visor peak with a crosshatched brown underside. It is RZM SS marked. The interior features a wire stiffener and a light brown leather sweatband that has vent holes to the forehead. All of its stitching remains intact. The base of the interior has a cloth and lacquered lining. The clear diamond moisture shield remains 97% intact. It shows the large gilt “SS” and is size “57”. There is mothing to the light buckram edges. The underside of the sweatband has the proper RZM tag that is maker marked “35”. The exterior shows some mothing holes throughout. A nice and desirable Visor Cap.
