Well you won't find one at a better price than this! The blade on this one looks good. There is crossgain left with some stains, age a nd a very slightly dulled point. The blade rates Exc. It shows the common scratches and age grey/spotting throughout. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard has oxidization. It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remain intact. The scabbard sits perfectly up against the hilt. The zinc based, nickel-silver plated crossguard and pommel are both in great condition. The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass based, nickel-silver plated pommel screw cap has evidence of being turned evidence that it has been taken apart, nothing extreme through. The orange/yellow trylon grip is in excellent condition! It shows the common spots throughout yet remains completely crack and chip free! Finishing the dagger is an original portepee in worn poor condition with frays, one of the cords is broken and stuffed into the slide. Overall this is a solid inexpensive example!
