A decent early example at a fair price! The blade on this one has some age stains from old fingerprints. The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark are both easily readable. It has a perfect fit and perfect tip! The blade rates an Exc/Exc+ with some crossgrain remaining. The steel based undented anidized scabbard is in great condition! The solid nickel scabbard fittings are intact with all their screws, the ball is NOT banged in. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and it closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is quite correctly Gruppe stamped "Wm". The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip has cracks and flakes. There are pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed! The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A decent example.
