Killer Depot Marked Eickhorn Navy Sword

Here's a nice 3rd Reich Navy sword with wonderful factory gilt that is depot marked. The plain blade on this one rates NM. The blade has minor evidence of cleaning. It's bright with smooth edges. The fit is nice and tight and the stamped maker mark is beautifully executed. The elaborate leather scabbard is a beauty with minor bumps, the top fitting is a bit loose. I could re-glue it but it's no biggie and I prefer to leave it. There are no dents or bends. The brass fittings all have even wear, are correctly secured with staples and adorned with intricate engraved wave patterns. The celluloid hilt is in great condition. Look at the gilt!!! The original triple twisted brass wire wrap remains intact but a few strands are a bit loose. The entire hilt is brass based and hand chased with great care. Both the front and back panels fold in and out correctly. The reverse also locks correctly into the scabbard. The reverse reads: "O 3094".The tang has been expertly hidden with hand work disguising it into the lion's mane.
