Deluxe 2nd Model Luftwaffe Hangers

A Deluxe M1937 Luftwaffen Dolchgehänge. These gold gilded examples were likely for Generals Daggers. The back connector, buckles, bands and clips are all constructed out of an injection molded zinc alloy base that has been gold gilded. They all depict beautiful oak leaves and acorns throughout. The grommets and the prongs are steel based and lightly oxidized. All of these components are held together with two straps. They are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a blue-grey felt material (reverse) and a patterned cotton, rayon and aluminum flatwire stitching (obverse). All of the clips continue to work well! There is calcification and thread pulls. There is heavy period ware and the shorter strap has been repaired. A fine set to complete your Luftwaffe dagger!
