A Kreigsmarine Mützen Adler by Josef Feix Söhne of Gablonz 1940. This would be appropriate for the "Donald Duck" style sailor's cap (Mannschaftsmütze). It is constructed out of die stamped tombak base that has been gold gilded. The obverse features a Kreigsmarine open winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow back reverse has a glued on prong. It is also maker marked "J.F.S. 40". It measures 2 inches wide by 1 13/16 inches tall. A fine piece!
