Here we have a Long Fireman’s Dress Bayonet by WKC. The plated, 9 ¾ inch long, saw back, fullered blade on this one looks amazing! It retains a nice bright mirror like finish! The saw back teeth look very nice! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! It has the slightest bit of spotting and surface scratches throughout. The blade rates a solid Exc++! The felt buffer pad remains in great condition. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard retains 85%+ paint coverage and remains completely dent free! It shows scatches throughout. The alloy nickel plated hilt is also in fair condition with 50% of its plating still intact. It has perfect diamond grip plates that are nicely fit without any damage and are tightly secured by 2 oxidized steel rivets. The frog is a post war frog and it is in excellent condition. An wonderful piece for your collection!
