A decent early example at a fair price! The blade on this one has lots of age gray and evidence of cleaning. The etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark are both still visible! There is a fair bit of age grey and spotting. It has a good fit and perfect tip! The blade rates an VG/Exc. The steel based undented, anodized scabbard is in great condition! The solid nickel scabbard fittings are intact with all their screws, the ball has a hit. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and it closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is quite correctly Gruppe stamped "Ho". The brown hardwood grip has lots of flaking to the lower reverse and upper obverse. There are pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed! The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains most of its' enamel. Included it an original but stretched hanger. Shoot I see guys on Ebay parting these things out for $700! A decent example.
