A rare maker on this one! According to Fisher you only see 1 in 1000 of these! The blade on this one looks great! The crisp acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and dark "Wilh. Weltersbach Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain continues to remain visible. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates a solid NM. It shows a few age spots but that's it. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard looks good! It retains 99% of its anodizing and 90%+ of it's lacquer while it remains completely dent free! The solid nickel fittings all look good and all have a matching nicotine patina. The lower one has wee bruises. The ball has a near invisible kiss to the bottom and retains it's shape. One lower screw is missing. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "No". The brown hardwood grip looks good! It shows wee hits and bruises but no chips or cracks. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A great early SA dagger!
