A Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by Kuno Ritter of Solingen-Graefrath 1936. The blade on this one looks great! The stamped “Kuno Ritter Solingen-Graefrath” maker mark, “Ges. Geschützt” and acid etched “Blut und Ehre!” motto are all beautifully executed! A nice fit and tip. The blade rates an Exc++. It shows a small warp to the cutting edge, surface scratches and age grey throughout. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black painted scabbard is in excellent condition! It retains 85% paint coverage and it remains completely dent free. The brown scabbard leather is in excellent condtion! It is “LFS” marked. It has all of its rivets intact and the snap continues to work well. The steel based nickel-silver plated hilt retains 90% of its plating. Only minor bruises to the spine. The grip plates are black checkered bakelite and remain in excellent condition. Both solid nickel-silver plated rivets remain tightly secured. The HJ diamond is beautiful retaining 99% of its enamel. A rare Hitler Youth Knife!
