Parts Army Dagger

This is a parts dagger made up by someone assembling various original dagger components. The blade on looks ok. The etched lion “C. Gustav Spitzer Solingen” maker mark remain visible. It comes to a perfect tip and has a solid fit. The blade rates Exc/Exc+. It shows age grey and has been heavily cleaned. Original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard is an Eickhorn product that has good detail with the random pebbling throughout and oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated textbook generic B crossguard provides beautiful detail throughout the wings, chest, wreath and swastika. The generic pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The slant grip, orange, trylon grip on this one is beautiful! One a wee nip to reverse next to the ferule. The exterior is gorgeous and will make for a wonderful display!
