Leather Visor Case. It is constructed out of a thin wood base that is covered in a brown leather exterior that has been stitched to the edges and glued to the spine and covered in a gold silk-rayon interior that covers a pad. The hinge and clasp continue to work well. The press leaver is lost to time, yet the mechanics continue to function. There is a leather strap to the obverse for carrying. There are four steel feet to the base. Minor mothing to the interior and crazing throughout the leather. These type of cases were constructed in the period, I inserted an ad of a similar one from ‘Uniformen Market’ 1936. It measures 8 inches tall by 12 inches in diameter. Perfect piece to keep your visor preserved. Rare!
