A Transitional Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by RZM M7/15 C & R Linder of Solingen-Weyer. The blade on this one looks great! The etched “RZM M7/15 C & R Linder Solingen-Weyer” maker mark is crisp and beautifully executed! It has a solid fit and a perfect tip. The crossgrain is wonderful shining the full length of the blade. The blade rates an easy Exc++/NM. It shows minor age greying, spotting and typical surface scratches throughout. The original black leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard looks good. It retains 65% paint coverage and remains dent free. The folded over blackened leather strap retains all of its and the snap continues to work well! The top underside rivet looks to have either been pushed up. The leather is in wonderful condition! The hilt is constructed out of a steel base that has been nickel-silver plated. The plating remains in excellent condition, being 99%+ intact. The two black checkered bakelite grip plates are tightly secured to the hilt by two plated nickel-silver based rivets. To the center obverse of the grip has a HJ diamond with 85%+ enamel remaining. A rare maker mark with a nice blade!
