The sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff on January 30th 1945 was the worst loss of life (9,343) in maritime history.
Included in the group is a Large Photo (11 1/2 x 7 7/8), Photo Album, Cap Talley (minty), “Arbeitertum” - Newspaper/Magazine, Panflet and the 2008 “Die Gustloff” German DVD.
The photo album includes; a boarding ticket, map and itinerary of the Italian voyage from Feb. 15-24 1939 including stops at: Genua (Italy), Naples (Itlay), Palermo (Itlay), Corfu (island in Greece), Venice (Italy), informational brochures of each city and a total of 109 photos of the trip and cruise ship (interior and exterior).
