The blade on this one is pretty good. It has some stain but overall it's clean and bright. It has a nicely executed Holler Solingen maker mark. The blade rates Exc++. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The undented plated scabbard provides wonderful detail throughout. The bands are detailed. The throat retaining screw is intact and unturned. The crossguard is a post-war reproduction. It is zinc based. Who, when or why I do not know. The grip is an interesting study in celluloid over wood. There are some wee hairlines. Ok so I sell this fully disclosing the crossguard issue. Pls no returns. This is a steal, watch it sell!!
