Here we have a completely correct 4th pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch)! The blade on this one is beautiful! The acid etched squirrel and sword “Original Eickhorn Solingen” manufacturers mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning running the full length of the blade. There are a couple age spots. The tip and fit are perfect. The blade rates NM. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard is gorgeous with wonderful lacquer and age patina. It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The interior lead weight is loose. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguard provides beautiful detail and patina. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The yellow trylon grip on this one is very nice.
