A minty Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by E. & F. Hörster of Solingen. The blade on this one is gorgeous! The acid etched “E. & F. Hörster Solingen” maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is easily visible as you shine it in the light! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates mint-. It shows only the slightest age. The large leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaf and acorn bands. It remains completely dent free. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The nickel-silver plated eagle crossguard provides beautiful hand enhanced details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. All of the fittings match perfectly in patina. The orange trylon grip is in near perfect condition. No cracks or chips. A nice minty piece.
