A rare, minty Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by H. Kolping of Solingen. The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched encircled HKS Beer Stein “H. Kolping Solingen” maker mark is dark crisp and beautifully executed. The crossgrain is easily visible as you shine it in the light, all the way from the hilt to the tip! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates NM/Mint-. It shows only the slightest age. The leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The nickel-silver plated eagle crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. All generic fittings with the exception of the alcoso pommel. The orange trylon grip is in wonderful condition. No cracks, chips or hits. A rare beast that’s forsure!
