A Rare Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by P. D. Lüneschloss of Solingen. The blade on this one looks excellent. The acid etched encircled roman helmet and sword “P. D. Lüneschloss Solingen” maker mark is dark crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is easily visible as you shine it in the light! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates NM. It shows only minor surface scratches and age throughout. The leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free. The original throat retaining screws remain intact. The nickel-silver plated eagle crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. All Eickohrn/generic parts. The yellow trylong grip is in wonderful condition. No cracks, chips or hits. A rare manufacturer of army daggers!
