Here we have a completely correct 4th pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch)! The blade on this one has some age. The etched “Original Eickhorn Solingen” manufacturers mark is beautifully executed! The tip and fit are perfect. The blade rates Exc+ The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard perfectly matches the patina of the other fittings. It has a bruise to the very bottom. The original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguard provides beautiful detail, nice lacquer and patina. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange trylon grip on this one is very nice with just a wee chip to the obverse.
