Rating 10/10 as the rarest of the rare makers on the McSaar. Yes the Linder family had serveral family membersin the business but this guy was the least prolific with only 1000-2000 blades. This one has a crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and maker mark are both beautifully executed! There is a fair bit of age grey and spotting but really not bad. It has a perfect fit and perfect tip! The blade rates an Exc. The steel based dented, black period repainted scabbard is in decent shape. It retains 90% of it's heavy black lacquer paint. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are intact with all their screws, the ball is banged in some at the very bottom. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and it closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gruppe stamped "P". The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks great. There are pressure marks throughout but no chips, no flakes no cracks. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed! The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A nice piece all around!
