Wow here's one for someone looking for something special! The blade is a beauty with full crossgrain. Really about as good as it ever gets. Rates NM. The ricasso has been nickel-plated as these always are, and the blade is unmarked (just as it should be). The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The nickel plated hilt fittings are in great shape, having only a bit of plating loss and dulling but really not too bad at all. Best of all the reverse roundel has been Jeweler personalized, "F.L. 7873 1938 3. X.38". Likely The guy's initials, FL and a presentation date March 10 1938. Tyhe 7873, I do not know what that is, if you do pls share with me. The pommel screw cover has at some point been turned. The lemmon colored grip is perfect being one tone darker to the obverse. The scabbard plating coverage is easily 99%. There are no dents or splits. Both throat screws remain intact. T
