A nice example of a 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger! The bright blade on this one looks good. The acid etched "F. W. Holler Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! Nice crossgrain remains. It has a perfect tip and perfect fit. The blade on this one rates Exc+. It shows age gray and has been cleaned. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based nickel plated scabbard looks great as well. It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remains intact! It has nicely aged and patinaed with time. The aluminum based eagle crossguard, steel ferrule and aluminum pommel all look good. The eagle has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The pommel beautifully displays some gilding to the swastika! The early trylon grip has aged to a nice orange over time. The grip has some damage near the pommel which I have clearly shown. The aluminum springy wire wrap remains tightly intact. A nice example all around!
