M34 DD Fire Police Helmet

Standard stamped sheet steel M34 style helmet retains about 97%+ of its original black paint. The left side of the helmet has a 2nd pattern Police decal. The decal has a couple of scratches but is mostly complete. The right side decal also has wear and scratches. The helmet has std "salt and pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 nonstandard civic style, black leather liner. The front of the helmet has a wee hit where you can feel a small impression with your fingers. The liner is in overall very good, clean, supple, condition with all fingers intact. All four of the natural cork spacers between the liner and the helmet shell are still intact. The liner has all 5 of the original leather tabs for attaching the protective leather neck guard intact. It is unmarked as to size but would guess at a 57. Chinstrap is again nonstandard but quite intact. The interior crown has the addition of leather crown lining panel with internal padding. Decent helmet.
