American fraternal sword for the Knights of Pythias

A 19th century American fraternal sword for the Knights of Pythias. This is modeled after the 1872 cavalry saber, the 27 inch blade etched with florals, society symbols and owner's name Major W.C. Rapp of 9th Regt. U.R.K.P., Marion Ohio. The Blade is WKC stamped. Gilt brass three bar hilt with lion head pommel, the guard molded with the lily and UR of the Knights of Pythias. The sharkskin and wire-wrapped grip is in perfect shape. Iron scabbard, the brass throat molded with the figure of a knight.
