The fouled anchor blade remains in excellent shape! The early stamped WKC under a knight's head maker mark looks great, the etch is beautifully executed! The blade rates an easy Exc++. The buffer pad remains intact. The brass based, gold washed, lightning bolt scabbard has lost it's gilt from normal wear. It is hand chased, remains dent free and truly it's in great shape! The hilt and crossguard look great with all matching patina. The trylon grip has clearly shown chips and cracks that I have pulled back the portepee to reveal. It's one tone darker to the obverse. The original double-twist wire wrap is tightly secured and correctly placed. The button works well. And to top this one off, it comes with a correctly tied portepee! An excellent piece that would make for a great addition to your collection!
