Original era manufacture. Chromed steel 31 inch double edged blade with makers information, "VPB" on one side of the ricasso. The uncleaned blade has oxidation and wear. Nickle finished three branch guard with a dark brown wood grip with no wire. Look at the back of the hilt and you can see a lovely Jeweler engraved personalization of the owners initials in a stylized interwoven, "MS". Little finish is left to the scabbard and the body has a repair just above the drag. It has wee bumps from normal period wear.
