A nice example by the most desirable of all the Police sword makers. The 32" blade on this one looks great. It has a nice matte finish and perfectly ended tip! The stamped "Pet. Dan. Krebs Solingen" is their 2nd version mark. The blade rates NM. It shows just the odd scuff. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great! It remains dent-free and continues to hold 99% paint coverage! It shows the common wear. The steel based nickel plated fittings retain 99% plating. Both fittings are tightly secured by two screws each. They continue to show nice details with a decorative interweaving design. The SS proofed steel based nickel plated hilt and d-guard also remain in great condition! It retains 99% plating coverage! It is SS proofed to the underside and the end of the quillion terminates with an elegant drilled knob. The chip and crack-free hardwood black grip looks good. Much paint is worn off. It is tightly secured with the correct nickel wire wrap, which is also secured to the reverse by a horizontal plate. The tightly secured, Police eagle is beautifully detailed with an excellent fit! The ferrule remains looking good with nicely detailed leaves and acorns and boasting burnished backgrounds. The pommel nut is quite correct. Overall a superior conditioned example!
