SS-Porzellanmanufaktur Allach - nichttragbare Plakette “Sportappell der Betriebe 1939”. A Sports Competition Prize given by the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Labor Front) for the year long program advocating the joy of sport for physical training for a healthier work force. It is constructed out of an unglazed porcelain base. The round shaped obverse features a man and woman (behind) running in front of a DAF emblem (mobile swastika surrounded by a cog wheel) surrounded by “Sportappell Der Betriebe 1939”. The reverse is “SS Allach” marked within an octagon. It measures 5 1/16 inches in diameter. A nice one!
