Heer 3. Stufe Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen in Gold. Awarded upon completing specific award criteria in recognizing driver efforts, ability and vehicle maintenance. It is constructed out of a multi piece die stamped steel base that has been gold gilded and attached to a round field-grey wool piece with a glued on lacquered backing. The obverse features, in gold; a steering wheel above a textured background surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath with stems to the bottom above/ surrounded by a field-grey cloth background. The reverse features the paper backing. The wool shows mothing. It measures 2 inches in diameter. A nice piece!
