Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

Here we have a Model 1933 SA Dagger (Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch) by F. Plucker Solingen. The blade on this one has some gray and clouding. It's been cleaned but the etch remains distinct. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates a Exc. The brown anodized scabbard looks good retainig 90%+ of the factory lacquer. It is dent-free retaining all it’s screws. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great! The ball has a wee bruise to the very bottom and continues to remain round. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The crossguards match the scabbard fittings in wear, color and patina. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped “Wm”. The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks excellent. There are a few pressure marks but no flakes, cracks or chips. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A good example of a rare maker, (rates 9 on McSaar) complete with a 2pc hanger.
