A rough piece that is priced to sell! The blade has wear but no abuse. The scabbard is anodized steel with the finish worn off. It's got lots of wear and hits. The hilt is steel with two riveted wood grip plates. The grip is serialized "3999". The pommel is marked: "ASFA" (Askari Fabrika). The button works well. So it's hard to know guys what textbook is for these as there are many variations and they were really made up of both local and forign components as were available. See page 220-221 of "An Illustrated History Bayonets" by Martin J. Brayley.
