The unmarked plated 32 inch triple etched blade on this one has lots of age, darkening and nail catchers as well as sharpening. The tip is perfect and the fit is tight. The blade rates VG. No buffer pad remains. The steel based, black repainted scabbard has a dent 3" above the reverse drag and 2 small impression where the scabbard ring was pushed into the obverse scabbard body. A single reverse throat retaining screws remains intact. Just below that the scabbard is stamped "7.A.R.6.7." just above that is "F.L.2." removed, Likely a reissue at some point. The brass base gold gilded hilt on this one has age darkening but I have not tried to clean it. It displays a jawless lion head pommel along with decorative leaf motif throughout. The languet shows crossed cannons. The wood based, blue/black ray skin covered grip looks good, remaining 100%+ intact. A double twist wire wrap remains intact. Similar one is illustrated in Angolia reference pg 368 and these are attributed to the undress saber of the Dragoons. Hussars and Uhlans. A decent example!
