This one is pictured as an unattributed model in Angolia's Swords of Germany 1900/1945 pg 66. The 34" blade on this one rates NM and is very clean. This has a nice clear stamped early maker mark. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard shows evidence that this was period repainted. The scabbard remains dent free and the throat is secured by two dome head screws. The gilded brass hilt and P-guard are beautifully cast with oak leaves and acorns. The languet features a sprig of oak leaves on both sides. The black celluloid grip has 3 double twist brass wires.
