Deutsch 1st Die Saar Tinnie 1934
An early Deutsch 1st Die Saar 1934 Tinnie. It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-silver base that has been silver washed and burnished. The octagonal shaped obverse depicts an early closed winged eagle a clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, above two shaking hands (one has a chain on his wrist), and a podium which reads: “1934 Des Deutschen Ehreist Die Treue”. The top/sides also read “Deutsch 1st Die Saar”. The hollow back reverse shows a horizontally soldered on well working tombak pin. It measures 1 9/16 inches wide and tall. A nice piece!
