M31 Canteen and Cup 1939

Here we have a standard issue .8 liter capacity M31 canteen and cup! It is constructed out of a tooled natural aluminum construction with an olive/brown drab wool covering, aluminum based green painted cap and blackened leather straps. The cup is marked "ESB 43", the clip is marked "R.Co 39", the cap and the neck are marked "S.S.L. 39". The cup retains 95% of its paint. All of the snaps are present and in tact. The clip spring works well. The leather strap has been ripped and patched back together as seen in the photos. A nice canteen!
