A Hitler Youth Gebeit 11 Mittelrhein Aachen 22. Juli 1934 Tinnie. It is constructed out of a die struck steel base that has been bronze washed. The obverse depicts a closed winged eagle with a Hitler youth emblem on its chest, below the emblem there is a large "h" and "J" on either side of the words "Gebiet 11 Mittelrhein", which translates to "Area 11 Middle Rhine" and is on top of an outline of Area 11. The eagle is clutching a Hitler youth knife in its talons. The knife reads "Aachen 22. Juli 1934". The hollow back reverse is missing its pin. The handle of the HJ knife has broken off as seen in the photos. A rare tinnie for your collection!
