M31 Canteen and Cup 1938

A standard issue .8 liter capacity M31 canteen and cup! It is constructed out of a tooled natural aluminum construction with an olive/brown drab wool covering that is secured with four decorative buttons. There is a strap to the back and portions of one to the front. They are made out of a blackened crazed leather and are stitched to the covering. The cup is aluminum based and painted black. The cup is marked "L&SL37", the screw on cap and the neck are marked "L&SL38". The cup retains 40% of its paint. All of the buttons are in good working condition. There is some mothing wear to the exterior cover. There are no straps for the cup. A nice canteen!
