A 1st Model (1934/35) Airforce Dagger (Luftwaffe Fliegerdolch). This is the second time I’ve owned this one. Remember if you’ve ever purchasing an item from us we are always buying! Here is the description: “Here's a great example that's been releathered. This is transitional example with zinc based hilt fittings featuring the desirable inserted brass roundels. The quality plated unmarked blade on this one rates Exc+. It's been cleaned and there are runner marks and the odd scuff you can find by turning the blade just so in the sun. The blade continues to remain nice and bright, the tip is perfect the fit is perfect. The blue leather pebbled buffer pad remains intact. The scabbard has been releathered and looks great! Coverage is 100% and in the correct Moroccan leather. The replated fittings look good. There are some minor scratches throughout and all of the correct headless screws remain intact. The aluminum chain is complete with 7 ringlets to the top and 9 to the bottom. The scabbard / crossguard fit looks good. The grip's leather is replaced perfectly matching the scabbard! The triple wire wrap is perfect! Guys 99% of people would never pick up that this has been releathered and replated, it`s just superior work here. In a few years this will all tone down and it will be near impossible to tell, regardless I ALWAYS share any restoration work. Overall this is a great example at a super price! Please no dealers on this one.”
