Good example of a desirable maker. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and round "Haco Berlin" maker mark are both crisp and beautifully executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This has not been cleaned, except to just remove some cosmiline. The blade rates Exc/Exc+. It has some age runner marks and age spotting. The black painted scabbard remains completely dent free! 90% of its paint remains intact. The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards match in color and patina wear. Four original screws remain but have been turned at some point. The ball has been banged in. The reverse of the lower crossguard is lightly marked "B" (Berlin-Brundenburg), which all Haco's are. The lacquered blonde oak grip is in excellent shape! It is crack, split and chip free! Just how you want to see them! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel.
