Dutch Milsco Helmet
It was manufactured in 1941 in Milwaukee, USA by Milsco for the Netherlands East Indies government for use by the Royal Netherlands Indies Army (KNIL) and the Royal Neth. Navy. The order was given to Milsco because The Netherlands were occupied since may 1940 and could not deliver helmets to the colonies. This helmet came to The Netherlands after the war and was refurbished for the Dutch National or Municipal Police. New paint job and liner as well as a new chinstrap and buckle.
